What is it?

What is a Home Inspection?

A home inspection is an assessment of a property's condition, typically performed by a certified professional before the sale or purchase of a home. The goal of a home inspection is to provide an unbiased evaluation of the property's major systems and components, identifying any existing or potential issues that could affect the property's value or safety.

What Home Inspections are NOT

A home inspection is NOT a warranty and is NOT meant to "kill" the sale of a home. A home inspection also does NOT appraise the value of a home or provide an estimate of repair costs. All homes have issues, and the inspection is just one tool a potential home buyer can use to help finalize their decision. Although we pride ourselves in being detail oriented and thorough, we are still human and may not catch every deficiency, such as hidden issues inside walls or below grade.

Remember, all homes have issues of some kind. Even new homes are not immune to defects.
